Walking on Other Worlds
The short film for NASA is finished. “Walking on Other Worlds” is an innovative video collaboration between Morrisondance and NASA Glenn's Imaging Technology Center. Green screen technology is used to showcase NASA Glenn's "floating treadmill." Treadmill simulators like the enhanced Zero Gravity Locomotion Simulator (eZLS) can mimic different gravitational environments, and are used by NASA's Human Research Program and the Cleveland Clinic. The film will be screening at the Ingenuity Festival from July 19-22.Dancer/choreographer Sarah Morrison dances in simulations of the varying gravitational pulls of earth, moon, Mars and zero gravity. NASA Glenn’s video department used video footage of the Earth, Moon, Mars and space to visually enhance & highlight the varying gravitational pulls.
