life imitates art imitates life

Jonathan Newman's latest work The Rivers of Bowery is going to be premiered at the CBDNA convention in New York City very, very soon. I had the good fortune to be able to take a sneak peek at the score, and I think the world of winds and brass are in for a fresh new sound, the likes of which they've never had in their repretoire before.
