We got the proofs back for the cover, insert, and tray card for the new BCM CD -- everything looks good and the cover looks AWESOME. We have GOT to make posters of this cover...
Played some oozey blues licks for another guy's game today...

Speaking of blogs, I was reading Steve Vai's journal from a few years back, and was really knocked out by this one entrance he'd made. (a little background -- at the Chaos Theory performance in Duluth, there was a kid sitting close to the stage who was talking during the ENTIRE performance -- loud sections, soft sections, solos, whatever -- I could hear him rattling on, and unfortunately I allowed it to distract me from giving my best towards to the performance):

This guy in the front just kept yelling "you suck Vai", "you stink", "f*** you" etc. I just played the whole show to him with every bit of honestly I had. I forced every note from my heart into his and was playing great. At the end of the show, he gave me a thumbs up.
Ah, victory. I hate losing.
