I read in the news today that a woman was arrested, handcuffed and detained for 3 hours because she was eating a candybar in a subway station... you've got to read this one to believe it.

Seriously, though - is this what we are coming to as a society? Are people so scared that soon we will have no liberties? God forbid someone eat a candy bar on a subway. But hey -- it could be a TERRORIST CANDY BAR. Yeah, you know, one of those ones that emits deadly gases and then explodes and causes mass destruction! Argh. Can you tell that this whole "society of fear" is really starting to annoy me?
